Davida is the result of the association of two major companies: CARDIVA and Philips.

CARDIVA has wide experience in the hospital sector in Spain and Portugal, and is leader in the manufacture, import and distribution of products for vascular surgery, pain treatment, cardiology, hemodynamics, electromedicine,…

It is precisely in this last sector, electromedicine where the relationship between CARDIVA and Philips was formed over 15 years ago, when CARDIVA became an official distributor of medical equipment for the Dutch multinational.

Philips Healthcare has been developing equipment for cardiac care since 1961, continuously introducing innovations and has now become the worldwide leading company in defibrillators. It is the second medical company in the world and invented DESA in 1996.
