Characteristics
Thanks to the special characteristics of the nitinol material, the mouldable head of the snare goes back to its original shape when leaving the sheath.
Depending on its position when being expulsed from the mouldable sheath, the Exeter snare loop has different shapes with a variable capture section with a vertex counterposed to the catheter, in order to facilitate its opening and advancement, overcoming the friction of the arterial walls.
General features:
- Open design of snare for a 3-dimensional capture.
- Smaller sized sheath to minimise the puncture zone.
- Less bleeding thanks to the new insertion technology.
- Great vertical strength to facilitate the capture.
- 1:1 torque for better manoeuvring of the device.
- Large variety of shapes.
- Pre-shaped guide that facilitates navigability.
