ANGIOLITE BTK

Drug-eluting stent for distal arteries.

Expandable balloon stent with release of Sirolimus. Indicated in the treatment of chronic and acute arterial injuries in the lower limbs (popliteal and infrepopliteal artiers) in cases of severe claudication or critical lower limb ischaemia.

The stent is made with a cobalt-chrome alloy called L605, and is then coated with a homogeneous 1.4 µg/mm2 layer of sirolimus. It has an open cell design with alternating connection bridges.

The release system is a rapid exchange balloon catheter. The proximal end of the catheter has a single light, while the distal end features a double lumen. The balloon is located at the distal end, and when inflated, expands the stent against the treated segment of the artery.
